PPS is currently in searching to identify and hire a Onsite Recruiter to represent PPS and manage the staffing orders and fulfillment of various accounts, based in Clayton, IN. We are growing and looking to add to our team!
Pay: $50,000-$75,000 Based on Experience!
About the position
- Recruit, hire, on-board, and assign temporary employees to work on assignments at the customer location.
- Provide outstanding customer service in meeting and exceeding their staffing needs.
- Build strong business relationships by working closely with customer contacts.
- Ensure that all coordination, follow-up and supportive tasks are completed on time to meet customer expectations.
- Consistently maintain updates in internal CRM and Employee database software system on a daily basis.
- Coordinate efficient and effective daily shift arrival, managing and assisting payroll, generating accurate and timely reports regarding headcount per shift, paid hours, fill-rates, other tracking.
Position Requirements Summary
- Bilingual is a major plus, but not required.**
- Must be a people person. Must enjoy interacting with people and be an excellent communicator.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and be very self-motivated.
- Must have strong PC skills, outlook, excel, work, etc.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule to include early morning activities, late afternoon follow-ups, and weekend initiatives when required or necessitated.
- 2 years of experience in the temporary staffing industry would be a real plus!
- Knowledge and experience in Human Resources, Customer Service OR Account Management are desired.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.

- Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan hiring events
- Build strong business relationships by working closely with customer and employees.
- Consistently maintain updates in internal CRM and Employee database software system on a daily basis.
- Coordinate efficient and effective daily shift arrival and exit of the assigned employees, overseeing g the clock-in and clock-out process, generating accurate and timely reports regarding headcount per shift, paid hours, fill-rates, other tracking.

- Knowledge and experience in Human Resources / Customer Service / Account Management are desired.

The Human Resource Manager acts as the direct HR business partner for entry-level through mid-career roles with extensive interaction with managers and leaders at all levels.
Required Skills:
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Very accurate, thorough and meticulous with a high sense of urgency both professionally and personally.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in an HR Manager capacity
- 3-5 years of HR generalist/HR manager experience
- Extensive Knowledge of current employment laws regarding recruiting, workers compensation, EEOC, ADA, wage and hour regulation, etc.
- Knowledge of OSHA law and regulations
- Experience with employee relations, benefits, payroll, performance management, compliance management, leadership development, etc.
- Proven experience with employee relations and investigations.
- Experience coaching employees and leaders.
- Must have experience turning solutions into actionable plans with successful execution.
- Must have proven ability to manage multiple clients, areas/teams, priorities, deadlines, and initiatives.
- Must have working knowledge of state and federal laws to include EEOC, AAP, OSHA, FMLA, ADA and FLSA.
- Must have proven ability to prepare written reports, conduct analysis and presentations to senior leadership. Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office applications and HR Systems.
- Must operate with a high level of integrity, customer service, partnership, and influence with client groups.
- Must have demonstrated experience leading talent searches at multiple levels.
Overall Responsibilities:
The Human Resource Manager will lead the planning and implementation of all HR Practices and outcomes to help support the organization, employees and clients. The ideal candidate will meet the day to day requirements of Human Resources while maintaining a strategic and operational view towards the business needs and goals with a strong emphasis on culture and values.
